Horse fencing requires a balance of strength, visibility, and safety. Like building a fence for cattle, there is no “one size fits all” for horses and in many ways the same type of fences work for both. However, horses are much more prone to injuring themselves in a fence, so while the style of fence my be similar, often the material will very slightly. For example, a woven wire fence built for horses will have much smaller squares than what is used for cattle and we may recommend poly coated wire instead of regular smooth wire. Barbed wire is never recommended for horses. From pastures and paddocks to riding areas and property boundaries, the right fencing helps protect horses while maintaining a clean, professional look.
